(1) In an election of Senators for a State or Territory the office of the Australian Electoral Officer for that State or Territory, or any other place determined in writing by the Electoral Commissioner, is to be the place of nomination for the election. (2) In elections for the House of Representatives the office of the Divisional Returning Officer for the Division, or any other place determined in writing by the Electoral Commissioner, is to be the place of nomination. (3) A determination made under this section is not a legislative instrument.
