§ CEA s. 171Form of consent to act

(1) A consent to act if elected, and a declaration referred to in paragraph 170(1)(b), may be provided by signing the form of consent and declaration in the nomination. (2) The Electoral Commissioner may accept any other form of consent, and declaration referred to in paragraph 170(1)(b), that the Commissioner is satisfied is satisfactory (whether or not the consent and declaration are in the nomination).
