A person who is, at the hour of nomination, a member of: (a) the Parliament of a State; (b) the Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory of Australia; or (c) the Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory; is not capable of being nominated as a Senator or as a Member of the House of Representatives.
