(1) A person may be appointed to be an Assistant Divisional Returning Officer for a Subdivision. (2) The Electoral Commissioner may appoint an Assistant Divisional Returning Officer for a District referred to in subsection 79(2). (3) A person appointed to be an Assistant Divisional Returning Officer for a Subdivision may, subject to the control of the Divisional Returning Officer for the Division in which the Subdivision is situated, perform the functions and exercise the powers of the Divisional Returning Officer in relation to that Subdivision.
