§ Ark. Code § 7-6-101Campaign services contract — Right of action

No action shall be brought to charge any person upon any contract, promise, or agreement for
any service rendered to or for him or her as a candidate in any election in this state or in aid of
his or her campaign for the nomination to any office in this state unless the agreement, promise,
or contract, upon which said action shall be brought, or some memorandum or note thereof, shall
be made in writing and signed by the party to be charged therewith, or signed by some other
person by him or her thereunto properly authorized in writing.
