Ergeben sich Zweifel, ob ein Abgeordneter im Zeitpunkt der Wahl wählbar war, so kann auch nach Ablauf der Einspruchsfrist (§ 2 Abs. 4) der Präsident des Bundestages Einspruch gegen die Gültigkeit der Wahl einlegen. Er muß dies tun, wenn eine Minderheit von einhundert Abgeordneten es verlangt.
