Expenditure. Expenditure on municipal elections, including the costs of voting materials and implements provided by the National Electoral Commission and costs relating to the functions administered by Registers Iceland, shall be paid by municipalities unless otherwise specified in this Act. Other expenditure on the implementation of this Act shall paid from the National Treasury, including the costs of poll-related tasks performed by Registers Iceland.
