Counting of votes in the event of disturbance to the use of an electronic electoral register. In the event of a disturbance to the use of an electronic electoral register, the electoral commission shall examine whether the voters that have submitted a ballot paper envelope under Article 88 are on the electoral register and shall place a mark against their names thereon. If a voter was not on the register in the constituency in which he or she cast the ballot, that vote shall be deemed to be invalid. If a voter cast a ballot both on the basis of the electoral register and under Article 88, the latter ballot shall be deemed to be invalid. The same applies to later ballots that a voter may have cast under Article 88 in addition to the first one. Ballots deemed invalid under paragraph 1 or 2 shall be kept by the senior electoral commission under seal until a ruling has been made on the validity of the poll. Thereafter, the ballots shall be destroyed.
