Closing of polls. A polling session must not be closed until eight hours have passed since it opened, and not until half an hour has passed since the last voter turned up. Polling sessions may, however, be closed when everyone on the electoral register has cast their vote and after five hours if the entire electoral commission and the agents are in agreement on this, provided that at that time, half an hour has passed since the last voter turned up. Polling sessions must be closed no later than 10 p.m. on polling day. Voters who have turned up prior to that time shall nonetheless be entitled to vote.
