Rights of agents at the opening and closing of polls.
List agents are entitled to be present when an electoral commission performs duties to
comply with legal and government requirements regarding the handling of ballot boxes and
other voting materials prior to the opening, and after the closing, of polls. Agents may affix
their signatures together with those of the electoral commission to what it writes in the log
book regarding the performance of these functions and may attach their seals to the ballot
boxes and voting materials sealed by the electoral commission under the law. The same
applies to the rights of list agents regarding the functions of presiding officers.
