Expiring term and next succeeding term; filing fee. Notwithstanding any of the provisions of the Primary Election Law [1-8-10 to 1-8-52 NMSA 1978], a candidate for both the expiring term and the next succeeding term of the same office shall pay only the fee required of a candidate for the office for one full term of such office.
