Advance polling 178. The Local Elections Regulations 1995 are amended by the insertion of the following article after article 50: “50A. The returning officer in a local authority to which an order under section 26A(1) of the Local Government Act 2001 applies shall give public notice of the day on which, and the hours during which, the advance poll provided for by that order shall be taken.”.
