Post electoral event reviews 68. (1) The Commission may, after each electoral event to which this section applies, prepare and publish (in such a manner as the Commission may determine) a report on the administration of the electoral event concerned. (2) Where the Commission prepares a report under subsection (1) , the report shall be published and laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas and a copy of the report shall be provided to the Minister no later than 6 months after the electoral event the subject matter of the report. (3) A report under subsection (1) shall include a description of the assistance given by presiding officers or returning officers to certain persons under: (a) sections 28, 88, 94, 100, 103 and 112 of the Act of 1992; (b) sections 37 and 43 of the Act of 1993; (c) section 31 of the Act of 1994; (d) rules 50, 56, 59, 61, 64 and 67 of the Second Schedule to the Act of 1997; (e) articles 51, 57, 62, 65 and 74 of the Local Elections Regulations, 1995.
