Advisory function of Commission 66. (1) The Commission may, and shall when requested by the Minister, advise and, as appropriate, make recommendations to the Government or the Minister, in relation to any proposals for legislative change, or any other policy matters concerning electoral policy or procedures. (2) The Minister shall, as soon as may be after receiving a recommendation under subsection (1) lay the report before each House of the Oireachtas.
