Amendment of European Assembly Elections Acts, 1977 and 1984. 26. —(1) The European Assembly Elections Act, 1977 is hereby amended by— ( a ) the substitution of “pursuant to section 25 (4) (c) of the Electoral Act, 1992 ” for “either pursuant to section 13 (3) ( c ) of the Electoral Act, 1963 , or pursuant to that section as applied by section 8 (4) of this Act” in subsection (2) ( a ) (ii) of section 15 (as amended by section 6 of the European Assembly Elections Act, 1984 ); and ( b ) the substitution of “ section 25 (4) (c) of the Electoral Act, 1992 ” for “section 13 (3) ( c ) of the Act of 1963 or pursuant to that section as applied by section 8 of this Act” in rule 4 (4) of the First Schedule. (2) Section 4 of the European Assembly Elections Act, 1984 is hereby amended by the substitution of “pursuant to section 25 (4) (c) of the Electoral Act, 1992 ” for “either pursuant to section 13 (3) ( c ) of the Electoral Act, 1963 , or pursuant to that section as applied by section 8 (4) of the Principal Act,” in paragraph ( a ) of subsection (1).
