This Constitutional Law governs relations arising during the preparation and conduct of elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, maslikhats, akims of districts, cities of regional significance, cities of district significance, villages, towns, rural districts and members of other local governments, as well as when recalling deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats elected in single-member territorial constituencies, and establishes guarantees that ensure the freedom of expression of the will of citizens of the Republic. Footnote. Article 1 - as amended by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05.11.2022 № 156-VII (shall come into effect ten calendar days after the day of its first official publication).
