1. This Law shall come into force on 1 August 2002. 2. Upon the entry into force of this Law, the powers of the Central Electoral Commission set up prior to the entry into force of this Law shall continue until a new Central Electoral Commission shall be composed in compliance with Article 7 of this Law. I promulgate this Law passed by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
