§ 13-15-505Canvass To Be Public -- Procedure

(1) The canvass must be public. It must proceed by opening the returns from each county, auditing the records from each county for errors, determining the vote for each individual and for and against each ballot issue in each county, compiling totals, and declaring and certifying the results.
(2) The board shall record all write-in votes shown in the returns received from each county.
