(1) The chairperson of the election commission or polling station commission shall manage its work and convene commission meetings. (2) In the absence of the chairperson of the commission, his or her duties shall be fulfilled by the secretary of the commission, and in such case the duties of the secretary shall be assigned by the commission to one of the members of the commission.
