The deadline for the nomination of candidates for the position of a member of the election commission shall be determined by the relevant council. A city council shall publish a corresponding announcement in the official gazette Latvijas Vēstnesis, whereas a municipality council shall display it in a visible place by the building of the council and town or rural territory administration.
