(1) Any natural person, legal person, registered association of such persons and an initiative group (hereinafter - the campaigner) are entitled to conduct campaigns before a national referendum, campaigns for a legislative initiative and campaigns for the initiative to recall the Saeima. (2) The State, another derived public entity, a member of the election commission as well as a capital company with more than one per cent of capital shares (stocks) belonging to the State or derived public entity is prohibited from conducting campaigns before a national referendum, campaigns for a legislative initiative and campaigns for the initiative to recall the Saeima.
