(1) Signature sheets shall be closed by the seal and signature of the chairperson of the respective local government election commission confirming that the signature collection has taken place in accordance with the procedures laid down in law. (2) Upon expiry of the time limit for signature collection determined by the Central Election Commission, the local government election commission shall send the signature sheets to the Central Election Commission in accordance with the procedures determined thereby.
