(1) A chairperson of the local government election commission shall, not earlier than 10 days and not later than 20 days after announcement of the election results, invite the newly elected councillors to the first meeting of the council. (2) In order to enforce a court judgment by which a decision of the election commission regarding approval of the election results is left unchanged, a chairperson of the local government election commission shall invite the newly elected councillors to the first meeting of the council within 10 days after proclamation of the court judgment.
