(1) On the election day at 8.00, the chairperson or the secretary of the polling station commission shall, in the presence of the polling station commission, ascertain that the ballot boxes into which the ballot papers are to be placed are empty. After this, the ballot boxes shall be sealed. (2) Without interfering with the work of the polling station commission, the election procedures at the polling station may be concurrently observed by no more than two authorised observers from each political party or alliance of political parties that has submitted a list of candidates for the respective elections, and also members of the Central Election Commission and the relevant local government election commission, and persons authorised by these commissions, mass media representatives.
