(1) Expenses related to the preparation and procedure of elections shall be covered from the State budget. (2) If the election of the Saeima takes place in the case provided for in Article 48 of the Constitution, the Central Election Commission shall commence the preparation of the election in the amount of financing allocated for ensuring the previous elections of the Saeima.
