Sec. 37.
A campaign statement filed by a committee shall be signed by the committee treasurer or
other individual designated as responsible for the record keeping, report preparation, or report
filing for that committee. A verification statement shall be part of the campaign statement and
shall state that the person who signed the statement used all reasonable diligence in
preparation of the statement, and to that person's knowledge the statement is true and
complete. If the committee is a candidate committee, the candidate shall also verify, in writing,
that to the best of the candidate's knowledge the statement is true and complete.§ 169.237Campaign statement; signing; verification
