Sec. 975c.
The procedure governing the special recall election on the question of the recall of the
governor shall be the same, unless otherwise provided in this act, as that by which the
governor is elected to office. If the official with whom the recall petition is filed is not
required to give public notice of an election concerning the office of the governor, the official
shall give notice to the official or officials required to give public notice of the election, cause
the ballots to be printed, provide election supplies, and do all other things necessary to conduct
