(a) The presiding judge shall designate the working hours of and assign the duties to be performed by the election clerks serving under the judge. (b) Subject to Section 32.073, clerks may be assigned to work for different lengths of time and to begin work at different hours. (c) With respect to designating the working hours of and assigning the duties to be performed by the election clerks, the presiding judge, to facilitate and protect the integrity of the voting process, shall treat all election clerks serving at the polling place uniformly.
