(a) At the times prescribed by the secretary of state, the registrar shall deliver to the secretary a statement containing the voter registration information determined by the secretary to be necessary to comply with reporting requirements prescribed under federal law. (b) The secretary of state shall prescribe the form, content, and procedure for each statement required under this section.
